Founded in Chelsea London in 2007, by Reedah El-Saie, MICA Gallery specializes in Modern Islamic & Contemprary Art.
Reedah El-Saie, established MICA to meet the growing demand for contemporary Islamic art and interior design. Having curated exhibitions including ‘From Facebook to Nassbook’ and ‘BritPak’, MICA gallery has sold and exhibited with internationally renown institutions ranging from Sothebys, The Southbank, Shubbak, Noor Festival, London Mayors Festival, KPMG, Gatehouse Bank, RPW Interior Design, ADNEC A* Hotel, amongst many others. Providing beautiful, yet affordable art for the novice collector wanting to decorate their home, to established private and corporate art collectors, MICA has provided a wide range of creative solutions for clients from across the world.
MICA gallery has been extensively featured in the media including; BBC’s ‘Hidden Art of Islam’ documentary, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Woman & Home magazine, Money Markets magazine, Al Ahram, International Herald Tribune, Blue Chip Magazine, Islamic Arts magazine, Houzz, Emel, Ibraaz, Daily News, Shoreline, What’s Good on the Web and many more.
In 2014, MICA developed a range of durable wallcoverings based on sacred Islamic geometry and signed a book deal with Thames & Hudson.
Reedah graduated in Law from the London School of Economics, has a Masters in Law from University College London and qualified as a barrister prior to working as a management consultant for several years. Previously she established ArRum private members club where her love and passion for contemporary Islamic art and design was inspired. She has completed a Foundation at the Princes School of Traditional Arts and a Masters in Art & Design at Chelsea College, University of the Arts, London. Reedah is married with three children and lives in London.
